Pakistan-Thailand 🇵🇰 🇹🇭 Joint Issue: 70th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations - Buddhist Heritage

Despite the exact date of establishment of Diplomatic Relations being 10 October, the Thai Stamp Programme had a Thailand-Pakistan Joint Issue scheduled on 15 November.The Year 2021 marked the 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Pakistan 🇵🇰 & Thailand 🇹🇭 on October 10. To commemorate this anniversary the Pakistani Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand 🇹🇭 Mr. Asim Iftikhar Ahmad announced that both countries will jointly issue stamps to celebrate the occasion. The theme chosen for this Joint Issue is the Buddhist Heritage of both countries. From Thailand the Wat Phra Si Sanphet Temple's (วัดพระศรีสรรเพชญ์) famous White Marble Buddha and from Pakistan the Buddhist remains of Taxila (ٹیکسلا) were chosen to be featured on the stamps alongwith the National Flags. Turkey-Mongolia 🇹🇷 🇲🇳 Joint Issue: 50th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations - National Symbols & Airlines

 (24 June, 2019) Turkey & Mongolia collectively issued a Souvenir Sheet each to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of their Diplomatic Relations. The topic chosen for this issue was 'National Airlines'.  Full diplomatic relations were established between the two countries in 1969, since then both countries are enjoying strong ties. The Souvenir Sheets issued have an identical design. The Sheet features the Airline planes of both the Turkish & Mongolian Airlines. Besides the National flowers of the two nations, the Red Tulip of Turkey & the Scabiosa Butterfly Blue are also featured. The issue also features the Fatih Bridge, a Mongolian woman, Flags, the Ankara Fort, Hagia Sophia, Kharkhorum, Khusu Tsaldem & a Camel caravan. The Turkish issued Souvenir Sheet highlights the Turkish elements of the issue by a glazed appearance. Pakistan-Azerbaijan 🇵🇰 🇦🇿 Joint Issue: Mosques - Heyder Mosque, Bakü & Wezir Khan Mosque, Lahore

(9 June & 27 December, 2018) Pakistan & Azerbaijan jointly issued a Souvenir Sheet on Mosques, the Wazir Khan Mosque in Lahore & the Heydar Mosque in Bakü. The issue coincided with 15th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between the two nations. The Wazir Khan Mosque in Lahore, Pakistan is one of the historic mosques built during the Mughal Era in the old city of Lahore by Emperor Shah Jehan & its amazing and intricate designs showcase the culture & architecture of the time. The Mosque is on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites' tentative list. The Heydar Mosque in Bakü, Azerbaijan is one of the largest mosques in the Caucasus. It was opened in 2014 and is a place of worship to both Sunni & Shia sects in Azerbaijan. It was constructed on the order of Ilham Aliyev & is a stunning work of architecture.
